O Lady

Have you ever cooked fire in the sheets of a Rhodesian lass? Or tried to build the Great Wall of China with hexanol sticks? I am overtaken with passion O’lady what are you that makes want to burn bridges and build a road of no return You look like a lady i wrote about in a previous poem I might sound crazy but i feel like we’ve fallen in love before Perhaps dejavu I want to try write of this feeling, all of it How it feels to lose my mind but trust my heart when you soil my eyes Sorry for littering this verse with what might not sound as love, But can I take you to the mountains, Somewhere in the western part of our country Where the birds know hymns of lust and the winds talk of everlasting love Where we simmer in the winds like fireworks as my hands stray into your arches As you point at where the sun turns crimson red I will recite ten nicene creeds to atone the lust of my heart.
