Now That You'Re Back

We could've worked it out, But you developed that attitude only but to leave; I pleaded with you to stay, But you talked of the type that you prefer, Shutting the curtains before my eyes; You got me sighing till I replaced you. Now that you're back from the dead, Where should we begin?

This poem brought several thoughts in mind as i maneuvered my way through it. first it brought the imagery of a partner who failed to heed to the apologies of the other partner after a wrong doing. however the issues death in the last but one line tells me that they may be other meaning to this poem. Good poem.
