Now I See

I once was lost and blind you see, in a world of darkness that surrounded me. I followed the paths that others had made, in the things of this world, like others I begin to fade. I had no hope in this world so cold, I was deceived by the things I had been told. I heard preachers speaking of the light, yet where I lived, it was always night. Diligently, for this light I did truly seek, in my darkness, I begin grow weak. When with myself honest, I had became, I seen my darkness, with all of it's shame. I cried out unto a God, in whom I did not know, asking Him to light my path, and His way to show. I found preacher's that weren't what they appeared to be, they tickled ear's, for the money you see. Pretty messages, yes they could give, yet without the truth, still in the darkness, we live. Through my year's diligently, for Him I did seek, the darkness around me, did grow weak. And the truths to me that his Spirit did show, in the darkness around me, a light unto my path it did show. Now I am a light for God, in whom I do not fully know, To be His light In this dark cold place, revealing His truth's and His loving Grace. To those who are called, will lead not one astray, and with His truth's, as their light, they shall lead the way. Be not deceived for God can not be mocked,You see A world of wolves, and in lamb's clothing they will be.
