Now Gone

The dying embers in the fireplace Reminds me of satin and your silken embrace Gently you slip off without a trace. Cascading memories from dawn to dusk Lingering scent of roses and musk From life’s golden garden bed plucked. Sinking sun setting sea on fire Leaving behind untamed desire Now shimmering, now gone.
