November

O November, you are one of the twelve stepping stones in a year, created as an element in the cycle of time. Without you Thanksgiving and a transition to colder days would be absent. Without you that one day every year on which I age, would never occur. We are people, speaking to the world of your importance and of the essential role you play annually. I ask you to come around at least once a year, and not to be late. I promise to make your presence quite pleasant and worthwhile, for I will celebrate each day of your being here to the fullest extent.
