Nothing's Ever Meant To Last

Flowers growing, blooming, living Blends in with the earth's green grass But soon the flowers wilt, and die Nothing's ever meant to last. God looks down upon His children My faith still walks on broken glass Faith that once was strong and proud Nothing's ever meant to last. Sunshine pushed away with clouds Rain pours down and doesn't pass Broken hearted, still in ruins Nothing's ever meant to last.

This is a very nice piece. I loved the imagery. Great emotional expression. Keep up the good work. Have you ever considered writing Haiku. I think that you would be good at it.

Lady D; excellent write. This one strikes home solidly even if it's message is in error. Love, Truth and Honor all stand eternal, leading a seeker to find many more things of enduring value. Loved this one. Love, Will
