Nothing Is Forever

Nothing is forever, Life turns ‘round without fail. There will always be change, Sometimes it will derail. Maybe you’ll have to move Pack up so many clothes And all the other stuff Quite a houseful, God knows! We tend to own so much And think “we need it NOW” But then we need to purge And trim it down somehow. With old age comes wisdom, We know our basic needs… Money, clothes and shelter, And hopefully good knees!

I love this truth served so lightheartedly. As an Army brat, I moved, as an adult, I moved - I learned early to toss what I only see when I pack, even souvenirs from 'best' moments I concluded belonged only in my heart. And wanting it now? We pray, by Thursday, but hopefully learn the universe knows the best 'when.' I enjoyed this greatly, Betty - CayCay
