Nothing Good To Say
People who never
have anything good to say,
their mean, abrasive voices
rub me the wrong way
Everything they say
sounds twisted and ugly
If they hear a kind word,
they utter something filthy
They love to insult,
they love to incite
They love to spit venom,
they love to bite
Their words are like
archers shooting poison darts
They love to sling 'em,
aiming straight for the heart
People who never
have anything good to say,
their harsh, rough voices
rub me the wrong way
Hard speeches
full of hateful words
That's the kind of talking they like to hear
Snide comments
full of hurtful words
That's the kind of talking they hold dear
People who never
have nothing good to say,
God won't hear their evil words,
should they ever need to pray
