Nothing But a Memory
All I'm left with
Are memories of you
You're like a wave of thoughts
That never seem to leave,
A smile across my face
And the warmest of hugs
Hand in hand,
With nowhere to stand,
We hold onto each other
And one can only wonder...
There's something about you
That's hard to forget.
Maybe it's the awkward jokes
Or maybe it's the way you laugh at your own
Your voice,
Your touch,
Your hugs,
Your scent that always lingers,
Your smile,...
It's those things
One can never get enough of
And yet every moment
I'm not with you,
They're nothing but a memory
That lasts until the next time I see you
