Nothing At All
Nothing At All
This is one of my Will Rogers tendency poems.
How many things must you take for granted?
To have found a person who perfectly planted
Themselves way up into society so very high
Are all very easy to see as you pass them by.
Can find them anywhere in full, plain view
There trying to make fools out of me and you
And deep down in budget continue digging in
How did they find funds and where and when?
Am so sure what I really have to surmise
In futility may find it to be a fruitless exercise
Forever forgetting where all the chips will fall
Final result was ending up with nothing at all.

Philosophical poem with a little humor thrown in.
Oh, and also, the blessing was in disguise.
