Not Wear a Mask

Not Wear a Mask How much longer do we have to wait Until finding out what may motivate Congress to complete constructive task And not wear a mask doing what we ask. What is their fancy which is particular? That will arouse and obtain a signature Regarding subject completed and done Even though not enjoyable or any fun. I know I could forever continue on and on But problem will not disappear or be gone Until they reach a conclusion and decide Mount muskets on wall and weapons in vault hide. Have them crossed along with sabers. James Thomas Horn Retired Veteran and Poet RiverSea Plantation Bolivia, NC

James, nice satire that cuts to the congressional quick. I think it was Will Rogers who said, "Thank God we don't get all the government we pay for." (And that was when a dollar was actually worth something.)

William Rogers, Ogden Nash and Robert Frost are my favorites and are what my poems are comprised of. This must be the greatest distance between liberal and conservative that has ever existed. When will the stone ages and wild, wild west finally disappear in some people's way of thinking? Jim Horn
