Not a New Story

Jesus, a story that has never grown old,
But darkness over many has the rule.
When in the spirit man has grown cold,
He’s near to becoming the Serpents tool.
Is God’s name steeped within your soul?
Do you bathe yourself daily in his word?
Is eternity in Heaven your earthly goal?
Or to you does his word remain unheard?
