NOCTURNAL PAIN

Oh, I never intended to bring forth sorrow, Never meant to inflict a pang, a borrow. A single moment, a glimpse of delight, Yearned to witness you in laughter's light. In the hues of nocturnal pain, a symphony so grand, Nocturnal pain, nocturnal pain like nature's own command. A sole desire, to see you with joy's refrain, Laughing, dancing in the purple rain. Oh, let the rhythm of life in vibrant rhyme, Waltzing with the echoes of a bygone time. In a poet's spirit, where freedom's wings attain, You, my dear, laughing in the purple rain. No commercial gain, just a cascade of dreams untold, A canvas of emotions, a tale to unfold. I seek but one vision, in nature's vast terrain, You, my love, laughing in the purple rain. :: 01.15.2024 :: ----------------------------- Comments: In the luminous tapestry of verse, the poet unfolds a narrative that transcends the mundane, weaving a delicate dance between sorrow and joy, anguish and delight. The language is a gentle river, meandering through the emotional landscape with the subtlety of a laureate's pen.
