Nobody's Son

We know it is in the instinct of a mother To be there when there is no other. We know it is in the instinct of a father To be there to push just a bit further. But something went wrong, there was a mistake And they didn't care; not for my sake. And I remain lost; I am alone My abandonment, if only they had known. Would they have been different? If only to my creators could I be indifferent ... But the fact remains, and what is done is done I am now, and perhaps always was, nobody's son.
