No Tomorrow

The cavernous cave- leading Nowhere, yet I creep into it Like a forbidden lover for His verboten beloved. - Those ghastly howls of The creatures unknown, Lost and a little hopeless, I traversed. - Shadows of the dead, Walking beside me, Not willing to believe, Yet I walk. - From that crooked rock, A shush did creak, I shushed it back, 'Silence here, nothing more'* - In the middle, I reached, The sky now gone, Laid rest on the rock, God, stop with this song. - From far of the tunnel, Resembling a wave came Gushing in, sweeping, Away the pain. - Body ripped in pieces, Soul detached for good, Hair turned to threads, God, it this where you stood? - Repent, the end is nigh. Repent I did, Silence became me and I, a memory.
