I have never in my life seen so much beauty. I’m surrounded by pine trees and cliffs of red rock. Here in the mountains is where I’ve always longed to be, Among the animals and fields of poppycock. From way up here, I have such a wonderful view. I can see for miles across the open valley. In the years past, good times in my life were so few, But, here where the air is fresh, is where I’m most happy. Being in the wilderness is where I’m meant to be, Where I don’t have to live my life by anyone’s clock, Far away from the disease you may call the city, Where the door to my home will never have to be locked.
