No Thank You

No thank you. I don’t agree. The setting sun does not remind me of time’s fleetingness. Discarded cups of yogurt in the park do not remind me of impending ecological collapse. The dark wings of crows do not remind me of death. Just today, when I was walking through the sunlit park, I saw a crow eating apple slices out of a plastic bag, squawking eagerly with each crisp bite.

Corey, what has happened?! Distinct mood change. I've tried a few times to fall into poetic grace but it's a no from me. I feel a yogurt pot could remind me of times fleetingness though - in fact I was only just looking at a custard pot and seeing how beautifully it was discarded for me to pick up was.

Who knows? I'm going crazy over here : ) I don't really know what I'm writing but I love the scene of a crow eating apple slices out of a plastic bag, so this happened.
