No Right To Lay An Egg

dying of a birth defect, disease, disaster, accident, or human abuse
yet

No hen has any right to breed or not --
her having not an egg's permission got
to hatch it in an open, wireless coup
and risk it ending up boiled chicken soup.

a dedication of Respect
for
the Ethical hen
whose need to breed a chick to feed
out clucked is still by
Reason
a revolving helios rhyme menippean satire on
natalism --
the brainless ideology running around with its head cut off
april, 2023 -- the henhouse of nests yet being feathered in preparation for
the inevitable fox
