No Place To Be
I'm not really there,
I'm not really here,
The place that I am,
Is a result of my fear,
Of what, I'm not sure,
Could I be more evasive,
Focus and clarity,
Is not so pervasive,
Envy to those,
Who know what they want,
They determine their path,
And proceed with their jaunt,
Mine's full of detours,
Speed bumps and twists,
The greener the grass,
I cannot resist,
My attempt to determine,
The appropriate fit,
Somewhat disarms me,
So, puzzled, I sit,
I do truly know,
That one certain venue,
Which needs to contain,
A multiple menu,
With that in place,
There's no need to run,
Fulfillment achieved,
And I shine like the sun.
