No More Tears

Why shed tears over the expected Knowing the outcome but neglect it Head on collision foreseen while chasing dreams But again you still neglect it Always in position to end in depression But yet you keep on pressing So here I am again...This void feels like home Built to withstand any storm Room for one....and nothing more But only when neglected

Great for a first post, Ghost Unseen, ,Welcome to Poetry soup, I hope you enjoy the community. Here, you will find friendly poets who enjoy supporting one another. I myself, enjoy reading and commenting those who want to be read. The only time I give constructive criticism is when a poet desires it. Interesting poem and first post on Soup! Talk about hitting it hard right off the bat! Good vibes.. I can easily "hear" this as spoken word. "This void feels like home." Now I could discuss that line at length. Welcome to Soup. I hope to read more of your work. Post more, when you can!
