No More Air
I sat next to you where you decided to perish. My eyes were dry yet my heart was weeping in lament. You took your own life, and I wanted to take mine as well.
Visions of you lying there so l i f e l e s s...
eyes OPEN, heart not beating-
CLOSED them and said... goodbye.
Your hands so cold and d e c a y i n g from the cold winter days,
my grief trying to warm yours with my heated b l e e d i n g tears-
I try to wake you from your sleep; my mind knows what my heart fears,
I lie next to you in TORMENT…take your pills and die the same way.
Lifeless without you-
Your death my sheer salvation-
I wish to d e c a y
with you by my mournful side-
Hands held- BREATHING... no more air...
