No Man's Land

When you enter the town, you take a risk. Your run had better be both quick and brisk. The brothers there live to steal and fight. You do not want to walk the streets at night. Yes, there is a load of crime and blight there. You will see it when you come out of Delaware. If you were detoured off of I-95, you will be lucky if you get out alive. Route 13 is also known as Philadelphia Pike. The scenery is something you will not like. You may say it is a shame and a pity. Well, that is what to expect from my city.

Nice verse telling the plight of your city...This is happening all over. I am from Baltimore and I am told it is a nightmare living there...and so it goes, such a sad song. Cynthia

Robert I like your rhyme. Thanks for the warning. And even though you paint a scary picture of crime, the last sentence denotes pride.
