No Longer

As more time passes It's like a candle's flame burning Except all the wax is melted And we're left with a burning wick And a flame that can only last so long The candles scent has drifted so far And so have you The fire's glow is starting to dim And I'm losing sight of the familiar face I knew It's the sad truth There will be nothing left Everything will burn It will be dark You will no longer be the light that guides me I will try and try again To spark up whatever is left Needless to say it's impossible There's nothing left of us

Accepting the end of a relationship is difficult, but necessary when the flame no longer burns brightly. Very nice, Nadia.
