No Happiness

Happiness eludes us even at close range The heart and mind seem to wander freely into pain Pushing away the love, barring the doors tight Preferring to close the drapes Keeping out the light. Whom ever wanders through the corridors, The maze of life and pain Will not speak lightly of the souls death the emptiness that remains Those who know what it is to accept happiness and breath Will have known what it was to have walked, the edge of death.

Sometimes its easier to slip into that painful state through grief or depression. Grab happiness when you can. Good write. Rob
