No Goodbyes I know I said good bye to you It was quite a while ago But I am having some trouble Because I really miss you so I have tried to find a new love But somehow I end up alone I can’t find anyone it seems That would like to make a new home The love we shared together Has stood the test of time I have tried hard not to love you But my love for you still shines If only you could come back Just for a little time Maybe then I would find a way To stop this love of mine I begged you not to leave me And I know you really tried My tears just kept falling When your life flickered and died Even though we said good bye And it was a while ago My tears just keep falling Because I still miss you so. My heart belongs to you And our memories still remain I can’t give my heart to someone else My love for you just stays the same So when it is time for me to go And as they lay me in the grave I hope that you are waiting Then I will have the peace I crave March 28, 2014
