No Christmas This Year
‘Twas the night before Christmas, and all eyes in
the sky. Children sat watching, watching up high.
For a sight of Saint Nick or Santa, you see, each
ones an orphan unlike you or me.
Not a mother or father to sit and just cuddle,
each one sits alone, alone in a huddle.
No gifts last year or the year before that, in
alleys or doorways each child sat.
Then out of the sky, a miracle few, it came into
your house, it came just for you.
In a flash it was gone, leaving gifts all aglow, the
orphans of course not, Saint Nick does not know.
Your help is required, please leave a toy. Make
all children happy and send them all joy.
