Nirbhaya

She was a simple girl with many dreams, But she laid on road and nobody heard her screams. When those demons shattered her plucking all her feather, We only felt sorry and with candles in hand walked together. We are for her still fighting and shouting, But demons in the street are freely dancing. We call ourselves so much civilized, But women in our society still marginalized. Today as a doctor she could have save so many lives, But because of our indifferent she didn't get a chance to survive. One demon is still roaming freely without any shame, And one honest leader is rehabilating him for votes and fame. Even some people holding her refute, So that they can save one brute. If we all need justice for her to be fair, Bring a law so that no demon by force dare a woman to bare.
