Nightbound Winter Reverie

Nightbound Winter Reverie                ******* Panagiota Romios Lost in a frigid forest, till you took my hand. A large, black watch diamond afghan, you wrapped me in. The strength of your sinuous thighs helped me stand. The flickering stars breathed their own fire,  Magic, to me, shivering with thee. Was this perchance a dream? All those moonlit icicles glistening like rainbows from whispering trees. The owl's eyes smiled and danced in brilliant ecstasy. As we walked on crunchy snow, My heart carved golden by your gallantry. . How calm, I was in this frozen desert. We spoke not a word, but forged on together. This phantasmagoric mix of ice and snow. You, my mystical dream and snow-lit sensation.  My symphonnic heart ,my winter soliloquy              11-22-2020                 9:30 a.m.

The flower pressed between the pages of an album, once as fragrant a scent as new day, dear to many as any that graced a Spring bouquet. -Richard

Dear Richard..sometimes I wonder if I am in an altered state when writing.)) I get lost, in a good way , in creating a Poem. I have zero idea how I write. I forget my poems. The minute I finish it. Very few of the thousands I wrote do I recall. I am sure other poets experience this. Me! I am looking for the next one, thank you for going back in time. Some people only read today's poems. As if the older ones are moldy? LoL. I appreciate you not honing in on the latest one only. Hugs from Pangiexx

Oh, this is magical, Pangie! Add my name to the list of friends who are putting this one in their favs. "My heart carved golden by your gallantry" was such a romantic line, and I also loved "My symphonnic heart ,my winter soliloquy". Such imagery and emotional connection flow through your poetic pen. Keep writing and sharing, dear one, you make me proud to be your poetry friend ~ John

Now don't make cry, John. You must have a magic radar that actually detects the best lines in my works. I wrote one just now. Such a touching poem but so brazenly honest emotionally. I know you pick up on the depth. This new one, not posted, I really, like. It has such clarity and no poetic gimmicks to impress. Your comments, I learn from......thats a gift you give others! Thank you. Pangie.xx gee, a FAV....Wowie!
