Night Dreaming

The memories of a mad man just won't go away As night falls on him in the middle of the day And the stars there to forever shine Keeps him wishing, wishing on a sign But all the shooting stars disappear without a trace Leaving his wishes unanswered in this desolate place Move on! comes a voice so unkind But oh! to start over without a sign Reminds him of a once so long ago lifetime Where faces with no names Judged you with accusing head games Fanning the fire And him neck deep in flames They'll come a day when he emereges from his shell Bursting though with all the forces from hell On that day the head games will cease And the memories of a mad man will be released
