Nigeria:Golden Generations Are Gone

Golden generations are long gone
the green-white-green no longer holds sway
unsheathed swords and machine gun
cries ring through,people scampering away.
hearts filled with burn and faces forlorn.
Hope is too terrified to stay
Regrets! Just how many chances did we spurn?
Nuggets!we threw nuggets away!
Despair has already won Repair? Can we ever find a way?
those toils in fields of green are gone!
Black gold has come to stay
the green-white-green is fading away
Golden generations are long gone!

Exactly! Especially in Nigeria where people would do anything just to work in oil companies. Agriculture is the way out. We've got the resources. Oil has just brought disaster
