Niceness Not Nasty

Being rude, nasty and mean Is something that should not be seen Problems need to be talked out With kind words-- not screams and shouts Its not a problem or a bother Niceness goes a whole lot further Harsh words and fights just lead to Sorrowness for me and you If anger starts to burn inside With fury that we can not hide Take a breath and count to ten Before it builds back up again Doing things we might regret Taking a step back will let The anger start to fade away And words of sorry we will say Making things from wrong to right And learning from this hurtful fight Thinking before words are said That can cause a lot of dread
