Nice Words

It's okay mother, what father said to me yesterday wasn't nice either but, it doesn't matter now does it? Because, it is not like you care. It's okay mother, what sister said about me yesterday wasn't nice either but, it does not matter, not to you. Because, it was not said about you. It's okay mother, what I say to my reflection everyday is not nice either but it doesn't matter now, because you will never know. So if my words are not nice can you blame me? Because I, I have hardly known nice words.

Nice words. I love your writing and your skill is on so many levels. If nothing else remember this, you just wrote of a theme that I rarely see anymore. Product of your surrounding or environment, but you used it as a twist at the end which took this piece from good to great. This is a message! to all. I am glad you wrote this, great JOB!

It would not be pleasant to live in a situation where one did not receive affirmation in a positive way..I hope that your life is better now..It is good that you are able to write about it if this is your life..If just a topic, many people in this world can relate to your voice..I appreicate your comments on my work "Had Times Been Different"..Sara

Madison, here are a few nice words for you. This poem shows a lot of courage and strength of character in the writer. I admire your work very much. I find a truth and a desire to stand proud against adversity. I also find a kindred soul and a kind critic of my work. Thanks for your support and well wishes. Love, Will

How sad, Madison. I hope this doesn't mean you grew up in a home where kind words were not shared. The fact that you can write about it probably means you have given this a lot of thought and have been able to deal with it. Still, I'm sorry if this represents the life you have known. God bless you, dear. Love, Carolyn
