Niagara Falls

I often think to write on thee In holy eves oh waterfalls! Thou captivate all heart that beat Thy magic everyone enthralled All pouring clouds by thee that pass Thy very sight them all appalled Who thee from heavens on Earth called? Who made thy beauteous shiny braids? More whitish than the snowy flakes Are these the hair of ancient maids? Who brought up thee in olden days? Some watery brook or watery lake! Deep oceans look at thee in awe All rivers bring thou in thy wake All fairies fly at thy great heights And angels sing for thee there songs Thy music beauteous than the winds For thee the heart of cuckoo longs Thousands of years I thought in awe! Then at the end this I surmised Some mighty angel brought thee there From far off , far off paradise
