New Me

I've been down so long like my life was on pause, Now I'm ready to chomp it, guess you can call me jaws, When you think nothing but the negative that's what you're gonna get, Now I'm motivated, concentrated, guess my fuse was just lit, It's a day to day struggle but i won't lose anymore, I've burned my share of bridges now I'm openin' doors, I've known my share of loss but it doesn't help to complain, positivity's my narcotic now and it's killin' the pain, So I'll work my hands to the bones until I've reached the top, And now there's nothin' life can throw at me to convince me to stop, You can try and talk down to me but i won't hear what you say, I know you're lonely at the bottom but you can't convince me to stay, My mind is takin' full control from a bruised and broken heart, And now it's built me up stronger, there's no way I'll fall apart, So keep your distance from me if you're carryin negative thoughts, Cause I've written books of negativity but now I'm changin' the plots.
