New Love

As the raindrops lulled her to sleep She lightly brushed her hands over her body Dreaming they were his Exploring all the soft hills and valleys She felt the sensual tenderness That opened her heart with pleasure That he loved only her His passionate desires An eagerness to please her As she made herself vulnerable once again Fulfilled in her comfort, trust A sereneness and satisfaction, an inner peace She felt safe, warm and nurtured As they lay entangled Within the sheets and pillows A light sheen of moisture On their skin as they lay sleeping Wrapped in each other’s arms And the raindrops lulled her to sleep
