New Look
It has taken too long to look into the mirror
ten years to really see what lies within
the pictures began to haunt me
A spirit had come over me
to show me the way off the dirt road
leading me up mountains
Where my name echoes
like music
my face shines bright as the sun
Tears well up
drowning all that I once was ashamed of
fill me with a new pride
Yesterday is no more
all that I once for
remains in the ashes
today is a new day
