I felt your heartbeat you warmed my bitter heart, by giving me summer You were my rainbow After a big thunder storm Your love made me whole I think it was you, My sweet and beautiful child Who gave me new life Alexis Y. 07-22-16 Inspired by the Choka contest. You have been well inspired, Alexis. The 5-7-5 syllable count is correct. I have a feeling that you did not enter this one for the contest, otherwise I would have expected to see it on the winners' list! Regards // paul

Yes, I would say you did it right, since the syllable count is able to be either 5 7 7 or 5 7 5. I did mine the longer way. The topic you write of is precious!
