New House

Concrete complex on a hill City skyline wears a will Skyscrapers jut from the ground High rise buildings all around Eyes glimpse the wide horizon Curiosity now beckons Sunset plunges to disrupt Dusk strangles light most abrupt Change feels so strange and dreary Time to retire the weary See time breeze by so quickly Two years in this house fondly Play of light and shadows hurl A new perspective now swirls By this balcony the sights A romantic hue delights Leon Enriquez 26 February 2015 Singapore
