Neverending Thoughts

Well it’s another dreary night alone And they just won’t leave, stop bugging me. Invading, lurking, and playing games Trivial thoughts of life haunting me I just wish they would stop and be gone. Can’t seem to get them to go away Always circling my aching mind Never resting, always lingering Would you please help me find a way? Please go away and quit dancing. O what can they want? Who are they? Why mess with me? All I want is peace and serenity. What can I do? Where can I go? Please help. Please. You’re driving me crazy! I never meant for this to go on. Am I ever going to get rid of you? I know. I know. You are my friend But please help me loosen the screws. Let me sleep. Please leave me alone!
