Never Stood a Chance
A flower blooms,
Out of the earth.
It’s soil feeding it,
The nutrients it needs.
Not only does this little growing flower need nutrients,
But it also needs water to survive.
The clouds let rain fall down,
Just to quench this flowers thirst.
Flames of shades of red come out of nowhere,
And cut through this poor flowers stem.
As the leaves and pedals turn into nothing but ash,
The flower takes in it’s one last look at the beautiful earth it once belonged to.
This poor little flower never stood a chance,
Against the four elements of Earth.
