Never Quit the Quest

Today’s skies might just be grey And uncertainties blur tomorrow’s gain Keep your hope alive as you watch and pray For to quit the quest brings a greater pain Seek for wisdom to stand each day For folly is an impediment to godly gain Make up your mind to stay and never to sway For to quit the quest soaks one in steady stain Destiny has allotted you a part to play Justice must be done in sunshine or rain Do not bow before the shadows of the shining clay For to quit the quest will at last cause you eternal pain Don’t befriend those who tend to stray Nor in the desert of sin sow your golden grain Pitch your tent with folks that fear the lord each day Never quit the quest , that you may not live in vain.
