Never Ending Race

We stand together Them and me They make a joke But they don't even see That the smile I wear Isn't even real This is not the real me This is not how i feel I laugh along Just because They are my "friends" At least they was I feel so alone So out of this place Why can't I stick up for myself? I know I can't win this race

The desire to be accepted and liked sometimes camouflages our real emotions. Nice work, Alli. Love, Carolyn

What are you talking about? Alli if something is wrong, you need to tell us. We can't read your mind. I don't want there to be a problem, but this poem really stings.
