Cultures clash and people have a tough time understanding each other Each individual sends out mixed signals This is what causes strife - and even wars Different views of life and its meaning lead to friction between individuals and nation states Lip - service is paid to tolerance But finding common ground is like navigating a rough ocean Let us hope and pray we don't drown in the surf

I have had a few personal experiences where I inadvertently offended others. Dealing with other people is often an art as well as a science. You describe the situation well in this write.
