Navarre
I'd never seen the emerald waters
That pushed and pulled white sands;
A sun that went to sleep so pretty
Sinking deep into the quiet sea,
He sunk his net in search for treasure
I searched the missing part of me
I searched her laugh inside the winds
I searched your smile in the tides;
I looked inside my soul
And found a vacancy,
Have you ever missed
The missing part that's me
Had you not left me in a hurry
Leaving memories soft and blurry
Could I have changed your mind
Could I have calmed a raging tide
If I could return a time before,
And be a little less me
Could you love me a little more
I'd never seen the ocean's vast and endless
Reflecting the essence of my love
A moon that hangs above her sleeping sun
Forgotten by the morning rolls around
Once said that you could fix what's broken
But my broken parts were never found
Had I not uttered words that turned the tide
Had I not shattered things that buried us
Had I not let the raging sea pull me underneath
Would the sands of time return me home
Could I break the surface and float on
Or is the missing part still gone
