Natures Reflections
Empty trees silhouetted in an evening sky,
Reflected in the still waters below.
Stripped of leaves and resting in time,
Waiting for the warmth of spring.
Bringing forth the signs a new life,
Of returning birds as they feed their young.
Giving welcome shade to the green earth below.
The cycle of life is never ending.
Nature renews herself by unseen forces.
Always guided by an unseen hand,
To nurture the living and reclaim the dead,
For as long as we let her have her way.
