Nature's Ornaments
So brief lived is your existence
Swinging, hung in the wind of resistance
Your wonderful canopy so brimful and green
Once proud and appealing now part of a fall scene
Maybe not always so gloomy to us,
Thus,
Your ever-changing colors are enchanting to the eye
A spectator none can defy
Until they tumble endlessly into piles
Dancing in the winds for miles
And then turned into a coffee dust
Onto the soil and staining it to a color so robust
As so your job then is to rest,
Until you’re brought back at request
Now you’ve became a part of nature’s circle,
In the pasting years of a chronicle
