Natures Jollies We See Human Follies
natures jollies we see human follies
donkey raced down to the lea
happy, happy, like a bee
racing for his flower
a mare feeling his sour
he was the collector
of her nectar
he wanted some now
now, now,now
of her, to sow
sow, sow, sow
he had needs
he had greed
he had neglect
for her respect
wielding his hoofs
as she stood aloof
she wasn't game
for his shame
she fought back
from his verbal attacks
he begged her please
for some cheese
she turned...his braying ways
for lasting days
he was an ass
so goodbye to their past
so in natures jollies
we see human follies
now, now, now
do we really
or am i being silly
the main thing
the message is not arcane
