Natures Jewelry Box

The sun opens up nature’s jewelry box, It casts shadows, on winter’s scene below. A mixture of sparkle as it unlocks, And begins to put on a brilliant show. Ice cycles hanging on a power line, Like delicate necklaces, they will grow. Frost capped red berries, like rubies they shine, And crystals like diamonds, sparkle in the snow. Clusters of flakes, like earrings on the tree, The wind moves them all with a gentle blow. All dressed for the day in Her finery, She adorns the bleakness of the meadow. On the barren ground, she will decorate, With her finest jewelry, she’ll celebrate!
