Nature's Grandeur
Never have I felt so small
As when standing by the sea.
Perhaps it was its vastness,
Or maybe it was me?
The water it seemed endless;
The horizon out-of-view--
I felt fragile as a butterfly
That sips the morning dew.
And standing there the longest while,
Having nothing else to do...
I observed the sea was still as large,
Though my inches just as few.
And yet I left a bigger man,
Though in stature as a bee...
In awe of nature's grandeur
Though it took the sea, to see!
