Natures Gifts

Painted with sunshine, a perfect blue sky. Golden crops rippling; in the breeze, passing by. A majestic oak slowly, from an acorn will grow. The red sunset will fade, into twilights soft glow. All the colours of nature, tint leaves on a tree. With the quiet of night, mother earth gifts these free. 8/ 2/ 2015.

Hello Jan, thankyou for your kind comments. Your earlier remarks about fitting it all into three couplets, was a case of extreme editing down from thirty lines. I could not seem to stop writing, until reality stepped in. My regards to you. George.

You're welcome, George, and I'm hoping you'll have the time to stop by and read my randomlings poems. This is a new form by Mary Rotman. It's addictive and fun. You might want to write a few yourself. ~~Darlene
